NIH Children Visits

The Children's Inn at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is a residential "place like home" for sick children and their families. Children come from across the country and around the world for treatment at NIH.

The Circle of Hope "Farm Experience" includes:
  • riding
  • decorating horseshoes
  • making horse salad
  • grooming
  • learning about shoeing a horse
  • learning about horse massage
If you would like to volunteer for these events please email Lesley Shear for more information.

The schedule for 2019 is
coming soon!

We usually begin setting up around 2:30 PM. The NIH bus will be arriving around 4:30 pm and leaving at 7:30 pm.
